Just Born, Inc. opened its third Peeps & Company store last week at The Shoppes at Sands, next to the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem in Bethlehem, PA. The other two stores are located at National Harbor, MD and Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. The Mall of America store opened last month.
The Peeps & Company store opening coincided with the 3rd annual fashion show to benefit the Bethlehem Area Public Library's Room to Grow campaign. The sold-out event - attended by 600 supporters of the Library - featured an open bar and chef-attended food stations.
Marvin Cooper, vice president of Just Born's said in a statemet, "We are so excited to open our Bethlehem store in this fantastic location. This is our first store in the Lehigh Valley area, and we are honored to contribute to the excitement and economic infusion that the Sands Casino Resort is providing to Bethlehem. As a special gift to our friends and family in the Lehigh Valley, for an entire year Peeps & Company will offer a 15% discount to shoppers with a valid ID showing a Lehigh Valley address."

Ray Isles of Food and Wine magazine was quite popular when he showed up on Kathie Lee and Hoda's show to discuss hot beverages with an adult twist. Kathie Lee pretty much never left his side as he whipped up a Peppermint Paddy, some Mulled Red Wine and Double Hot Chocolate. The Peppermint Paddy
consists of white creme de menthe, dark
rum, cognac or brandy and
four ounces of white hot chocolate. A dollop of whipped cream with
cocoa powder and sugar
and some crushed Altoids
are the finishing touches.
Mulled wine is a 17th century
drink that George Washington
was fond of -- and it is
President's day, after all.
The wine is warmed with
spices placed in a piece of cheesecloth. Brown sugar is then added.
Double Chocolate Hot Chocolate
has milk chocolate and
dark chocolate melted down
with some water. Then he adds milk and cream. Needless to say, these are some high-calorie drinks. But we feel sure that after a couple of Peppermint Paddies, you won't be feeling the cold -- or much of anything else, for that matter. Take a look:

The FDA is going to investigate inhalable caffeine to determine whether or not it is safe for consumers. The inhalable caffeine is sold in containers that resemble lipstick canisters. Breathable Foods, Inc. says its Aeroshot Energy contains caffeine and B vitamins. Breathable Foods says each AeroShot contains 100 mg of caffeine, which is similar to the amount in a large cup of a coffee. Each puff of an AeroShot delivers about 15-25 mg of caffeine.
Senator Charles Schumer is very concerned about the product and he has been pushing for it to get an FDA review. Schumer says kids go to bars and take puffs of AeroShot so they can drink more. Rachel Zoe designed five windows for Tiffany & Co. to celebrate the 2012 Academy Awards. The windows were inspired by Hollywood glamour from the 1930s through the 1970s. The windows were installed at Tiffany flagship stores in New York City, Beverly Hills, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore and London. They feature Tiffany jewels that capture the spirit of the time.
Rachel said in a statement, "To see my interpretation of glamour and luxury unveiled in Tiffany's windows is an amazing experience. Tiffany is one of the most iconic American brands, and I am honored by this wonderful opportunity."
This is Rachel Zoe's 1950s inspired window for Tiffany. It represents the era of the red carpet and the paparazzi angling to get the best photographs of the rich and famous.
